About Me
Cindy Teniente is a New York–based Mexican American actress with Texas roots and a love for bold, human stories. A graduate of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, she blends classical training with a natural, down-to-earth presence. Her stage work includes Alice Hawkins in Decision Height, Camillo in The Winter’s Tale, and Karen Weston in August: Osage County, along with appearances in commercials and indie films.
Before acting, she served in the U.S. military with a deployment to Afghanistan, an experience that continues to shape the honesty and resilience she brings to her work. She’s deeply inspired by human connection—something she explored firsthand while living in Israel/Palestine, experiencing daily life among Jewish, Palestinian Muslim, and Palestinian Christian communities.
Outside of acting, she enjoys exploring national parks with her husband or unwinding with a documentary and a bag of spicy chips.
“It’s one thing for an actor to connect with their character and dialogue. But Cindy goes beyond that to effortlessly embody them. In-the-moment, authentic, and a real joy on a film set.”
